Safety Equipment

Boats

Make sure that you have :-

1. a good marine radio with a good antenna.
2. plenty of power for the radio - battery.
3. plenty of fuel.
4. flares.
5. EPIRB.
6. lifejackets.
7. everything checked and maintained.

Diving Boats

1. at least 2 divers - buddy diver system.
2. rope - if a diver has to go down to deal with the bends make sure that they take a rope down and a cord with a note pad and crayon.
3. flotation vests and mini flares are useful for the divers if they become separated.
